No More Contracts For T-Mobile Customers!?!?!

It looks like T-Mobile has finally got rid of contracts for wireless customers to make the wireless carrier more competitive. T-Mobile’s Web site shows an unlimited talk, text, and Web option that includes up to 500MB of high-speed data for a single phone for $50 a month. The price rises as the data level increases for example 2GB for $60, and 4GB for $70. As far as the phone itself, T-Mobile will allow customers to pay for the phone in payments or outright.


Nook Annouces It Will Have WHAT?!?

Barnes & Noble announced today that an in-app purchasing is coming soon to NOOK. This will be possible through a partnership with a mobile payment provider, Fortumo. Soon, App and game developers will be able to sell their digital content directly to millions of NOOK customers in the NOOK Store.

Apple’s New Patent Protects Your Phone From WHAT?!?

Apple has just received a patent for a protective mechanism for an electronic device. The patent is for a mechanism that will change the position of the falling phone in mid fall so it doesn’t damage the glass screen. A sensor within the device should send a signal to determine when it should activate the mechanism.
