Google Chrome released a new feature this as part of its update that allows for spell checking. The feature is called “Ask Google for suggestions” and it’s powered by the same technologies used for Google search. Users on Windows, Linux and Chrome OS will get the feature update soon. The only problem is your searches could be getting monitored.


Spotify CEO Denies Rumors

Even though sources close to the Spotify company are saying its planning to enter into the video service department, the CEO , Daniel Ek, is not so fast. Spotify is the largest on-demand music service with 24 million active listeners. Daniel Ek told Cnet in an interview, “I won’t rule it out because we’re a company that looks at what we’re doing incredibly long term, But right now, we’re all focused on music.”


Zynga Is Having Some Changes Within The Company!!

Zynga is making some executive changes in its company. The gaming company just hired Atul Bagga, an analyst formerly of Lazard Capital Markets, to be the new VP of finance at Zynga. Also, CIO of the company Debra Chrapaty announced Monday she would be leaving the gaming company to become CEO of Nirvanix, an enterprise cloud storage company. There has not been any word on who would replace her.


Google Slashes Prices For Popular Software!!

Google has slashed the price of Nik’s popular plug-ins. Now for just $149, users will get all plug-in bundled up together as the Nik Collection by Google. Also, its available for a 15-day free trial and if users have already purchased one or more the Nik plug-ins in the past, users can upgrade to get the entire Nik Collection by Google for free.


Really?!!? Airline Passengers Will Be Able to Use WHAT?!?

Julius Genachowski, chairman of the Federal Communications Commission is requesting that the Federal Aviation Administration allow more electronics on airplanes. That means you can listen to your iPod or use other devices from the time you take off and until landing but not your cell phone, that would still have to be completely off.


Is LinkedIn Search Getting Smarter???

LinkedIn is planning on making a number upgrades to its search engine with the intention of making it smarter and more streamlined. Last year, 5.7 billion professionally oriented searches were done on LinkedIn. The company sees millions of professionals, everyday find others and get found through LinkedIn search.
