Here’s WHY Blackberry & Windows Phones Are Losing!!!

There are litteraly thousands of apps available that do an array of things but how many of these apps do you actually use? There maybe only a handful you probably use on a daily basis. IOS and Android are the top two operating systems that offer so many apps and now Blackberry 10 and Microsoft’s Windows 8 are fighting to be number 3. More than likely Blackberry 10 and Windows 8 phones will not have all the apps you would want. We have previously reported on Netflix and Instagram will not be apps for to Blackberry 10 OS. With these new operating systems its not enough users for developers to benefit from creating app that works on them.

Bar In Seattle Bans Google Glass

Google has’nt released its highly anticipated device the Google Glass but it looks the device has already been banned by a bar in Seattle. According to the bars Facebook page the bar will kindly ask the wearer to remove the device or they will be asked to leave. According to the bars owner he’s feels Google Glass doesnt give his patrons the privacy they need in a bar (but people with smartphones taking pics are probably ok??) when enjoying their drinks.  In a radio interview the bar owner said “Part of this is a joke, to be funny on Facebook, and get reaction. But part of it’s serious, because we don’t let people film other people or take photos unwanted of people in the bar, because it is kind of a private place that people go,” said Meinert in an interview with KIRO-FM.

What Can Your Light Bulbs Do??

Philips’s created a light bulb, called Hue, that allows customers to control from a smartphone. With the Web-enabled Hue, you can set its brightness or change the bulbs color. Hue has already been a big hit with software developers who have been hacking the system and creating apps of their own. Some of them allow users to sync the lights to music. Others let users set the lights to coordinate with the colors in a scene on television using a smartphone camera, creating kind of a surround-lighting experience.
