Brandy got some new ink last month and tweeted the photo as soon as she got out of the chair. According to the tattoo artist, it wasn’t done yet…there was still some shading to be done. Then after a lot of people were saying the trunk resembled umm…some junk…LOL…he decided to fix that too. (As a side note, Brandy also said it was an Egyptian god when she tweeted the pic…it’s definitely a Hindu god. LOL!) The new touches are nice! Think it’s time for me to get some new ink as well!! @MarisaMendez
The Man Who Tattooed Gucci’s Ice Cream Said He’ll Never Do Another Like That
Gucci went down in history yesterday for getting one of the most ridiculous tattoos the hip-hop world has seen. The man behind the tattoo, Shane Willoughby of ATL’s Tenth Street Tattoo, spoke to Vibe today about the whole situation. “I was [hesitant] like ‘Are you sure you want to put that much [ink] in that area? He came straight to the counter and that’s where he pointed…. When [Gucci] said he wanted to do the ice cream thing I said ‘Well why don’t we do it somewhere else?’ But he was like I don’t have anywhere else.” He also said Gucci was 100% sober when going under the needle. But that’s not to speak on his mental state, however. Gooch was recently released from Anchor Hospital in Atlanta for psychiatric evaluation. “I don’t think I’ll ever do [that] again… no matter how successful [the celebrity],” said Willoughby. Gucci seems to be quite pleased with the outcome, though. “He was stoked. Had no regrets… was jumping up and down. That’s the way he rolls.” Thoughts? @MarisaMendez

She also shared that her past collaborator Monica was the inspiration behind her love for tattoos and Louis Vuitton and that the meaning of that tat is that it is of Ganesh, an Egyptian God that is the remover of all obstacles. WBNS-TV and The Columbus Dispatch, both citing unidentified sources, reported on their websites Wednesday night that the school was looking into the possible NCAA violations just two weeks before the Buckeyes face Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 4.
