Recently freed rapper DMX made waves in Saint Louis over the weekend, during an appearance on Hot 104.1.The rapper appeared on the Young Dip’s show and after Young Dip finished playing a song by Fort Meyers, Florida rapper Plies, DMX shared his opinion with the station’s hundreds-of-thousands of listeners. While DMX co-signed T.I. as his favorite artists out right now, he blasted Plies. “I don’t even know who the worst is, but he has to be one of the worst,” DMX said. “I mean ‘Bruh Bruh?’ Serious? that has to be one of the worst. How do you even fix your mouth to say that or spell that? I am looking at how it’s spelled.” The rapper then got serious and revealed a more positive side, that could be featured on his upcoming album. “On a serious note, what a lot of people don’t understand, is that we as artists, are teachers. A Colorado high school student wants an explanation from school officials after reportedly being told by security guards to remove American flags from his truck because they might make other students uncomfortable. Jeremy Stoppel told Denver’s KMGH-TV he received a ticket at Northglenn High School last Thursday for squealing his tires and subsequently had his parking lot pass suspended for two weeks. But he also was told by a campus security guard to remove two U.S. flags — each 3-by-5 feet — from the bed of his pickup truck. “She said I should take my flags down. She said this is a school that focuses on diversity and she doesn’t want anyone to feel uncomfortable,” Stoppel told KMGH-TV. “How do you suppose anyone would feel uncomfortable in America with an American flag? That’s where I’m confused.” Stoppel said he began flying the flags last week and wants to keep them for the upcoming 9/11 anniversary in honor of his cousin who is serving in the Navy. Stoppel and his father now want an apology from the security supervisor. “To me, she’s just threatening him, hoping that she can just bully him so he’ll just take ’em down and just put his tail between his legs and say, ‘I’m done. A guard on Rikers Island could face disciplinary action for allegedly giving superstar rapper Lil Wayne preferential treatment in the prison. An investigation has been launched over the alleged actions of Captain Latanya Brown, who is accused of spending extra time with Lil Wayne. Additionally, the New York Post reports that Captain Brown allegedly allowed the rapper to stay in his cell, while other inmates were ordered out of their bunks and into the recreation yard. The prison has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to showing favoritism towards any inmate. In April, just one month after the rapper started his year-long sentence for attempted criminal possession of a weapon, a guard at the complex was fired for allegedly spying on Lil Wayne. Amelia Negron was fired for glimpsing at Lil Wayne, although she denied the charges, claiming her union boss forced her to make a confession. West unleashed his emotions on his official Twitter account Saturday, acknowledging once again that he was wrong for jumping on stage, grabbing the microphone from Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards and saying her trophy should have gone to Beyonce. “How deep is the scar … I bled hard … cancelled tour with the number one pop star in the world … closed the doors of my clothing office,” he tweeted.  West said he’s now “ready to get out of my own way. The ego is overdone.” He also apologized to Swift again, and said he has written a song for her that he hopes she will perform.  “If she won’t take it then I will perform it for her,” he said.

More details have been released in regards to the September 1st arrest of T.I. and Tiny. The drugs found have tested positive as the drug cocktail “ecstasy”. Apparently their car made an illegal U-Turn and they were tailed by police who picked up the scent of marijuana. T.I. is currently on probation for 3 years and can face a “significant jail sentence” if he is found to be out of adherence with the terms of his probation. It seems the fate of T.I. lays at the hand of his probation officer who will ultimately make a weighted recommendation about what should happen to the King of the South. He has two options – one which involves a life filled with more drug tests and drug counseling and the other involves being put behind bars immediately. Lets hope his PO is a nice guy and a fan. Thomas, T.I.’s attorney says he remains optimistic about what the outcome of this entire fiasco will be. “First of all, I don’t know whether in fact he was in possession of any controlled substance, secondly, whatever controlled substance the police officers have seized at that location or at that incident, I haven’t seen any type of lab report or chemical report that verifies or substantiates what that chemical is.” – Dwight L.
