At the Music & Advertising conference this past Wednesday, David Banner chopped it up with Billboard and discussed his recent endorsements and reveals that he wrapped up the trailer music for the animated film, Megamind starring Brad Pitt and Will Ferrell.

Lindsay Lohan’s week is off to a rough start. Following a weekend full of reports — and her own admission — that she had failed court-mandated drug tests, a California judge has issued a warrant for her arrest, TMZ reports. The bench warrant is on hold until Friday at 8:30 AM, when Lindsay is ordered to appear in court. Lohan, 24, could be sentenced to 30 days behind bars for each of the two failed tests.

Man I really can’t believe the way some of these stars get off! Paris was discovered with cocaine in her purse last month while being pulled over, and only has to pay $2,000 in fines, complete 200 hours of community service and complete what is being described as an “intensive” substance abuse program. This is in exchange for her “guilty” plea, which had she not submitted, she would have received a one year jail term. TMZ reported that the judge gave Hilton a one-year suspended sentence in the case, which means that if she is arrested for anything besides a minor traffic violation in Vegas in the next year, she will have to serve the full one-year term. Hilton will also be on probation for one year. In a quote from Paris’s lawyer, he says, “Ms. Hilton understands the seriousness of the situation and appreciates the chance she is being given. NEW YORK — Athletic clothing and shoe maker Nike Inc. said it has temporarily shut its Niketown store in New York City after it became the latest victim of bedbugs. The company confirmed Sunday that the store, on East 57th Street in Manhattan, was closed after bedbugs were discovered. It released a statement saying its primary concern was the well-being of customers and employees.

Congrats to Mariah! She recently struck a deal with the shopping network HSN that will include shoes, jewelry and a limited edition of her perfume, Luscious Pink. This line is set to be pretty affordable for the average shopper, with prices ranging from $40 to $200. Not bad! I might just have to check it out! News has confirmed with sources that Kim Kardashian and Miles Austin split “a little over a week ago,” right before she left for Europe. “It was mutual,” says an insider close to the former fun couple. “It was because of their lack of time spent together and busy schedules. It just wasn’t realistic that they could make it work.” Kim is currently on a promotional trip overseas. She’s now in Italy and due back home Thursday. Family members have been urging Kim to stop dating athletes and instead focus on more conventional guys. “She needs to date a businessman,” says a pal. “Athletes just aren’t a good long-term investment.” Source: E!
