Jay-Z and Kanye’s mega-album Watch the Throne defied all odds when it wasn’t leaked before it’s midnight release last night…shocking everyone across the globe because there hasn’t been an album in forEVER that didn’t spring a leak prior to its release date. Apparently, engineers that worked on this album were given a pretty nice gift to keep the music where it was supposed to be. Not sure if there’s any truth to that but Nigel D, a reliable source in the music business, tweeted this photo last night of what they were allegedly given so I’m inclined to believe it’s real. Justin Bieber Rapping On Chris Brown’s Upcoming Hip-Hop Mixtape??
Oh boy this will be interesting. “did a lil something on the upcoming @chrisbrown mixtape.. Ladies love me. then we got crazy on the @asherroth album. #shawtymane,” the pint-sized pop star tweeted earlier. Now if you don’t know, “Shawty Mane” was the name Justin gave to himself when he did a video [jokingly] rapping over Cam and Vado’s “Speaking in Tongues” track. And since this is a whole mixtape dedicated to someone (Chris) being out of their element and rapping over singing, it makes sense that it’d feature a verse from JB. Do YOU want to hear that?? Nicki Minaj Allegedly Punched in the Mouth By a Man!
Oh this is NOT cool and I hope TMZ has the information wrong! Nicki was at an upscale hotel yesterday in Dallas, TX while in town for the Femme Fatale tour, when she apparently got in a fight with a man (unnamed). It escalated when he punched her in the lower lip and authorities were then called. Again I hope this was misinformation but if it IS true…I really hope it’s not her close friend/hypeman SB. Yikes! Waka Flocka Quitting Rap Music???
Seems like Flocka is going through some things. The stresses of the game must be getting to him, as the “Hard in the Paint” rapper took to his Twitter to announce his plan to get out of the music business.
