Eminem’s daughter, Hailie Jade Mathers, is now in college and enjoying a pretty low-key life. She has a boyfriend, appears to be into the “Insta-fashions” and does her makeup like Kylie Jenner and every other 20-something with a wifi connection these days. One interesting thing is her IG name, though. Going by the handle @hailiescott1, Hailie is using her mother’s maiden name, instead of her father’s last name – despite that being her real name. It’s possible she just didn’t want the attention, but I don’t know – could there be some trouble there? We all know how much Em adores his Hailie Jade, so that’s definitely an eyebrow-raiser!

It’s that time of year again! XXL will soon be releasing their annual Freshman list. Each year, 10 of the hottest upcoming acts make the cut – 9 of which are hand-picked by the XXL staff, the tenth being voted in by fans. XXL releases all of their options on a voting site, allowing fans to vote every four hours for their favorite(s). Be smart about your votes, though! The artists on this list include the ones XXL has already chosen, but of course they don’t want to let you know which ones they are and ruin the surprise! My advice is to vote for your favorite acts that are lesser known on the list, as the more popular ones are likely to have already made the cut.

There was recently talk of Kanye West taking Simon Cowell’s place on American Idol. It was said that the production team was interested in Kanye and also offering him a number that would be hard for him to turn down. Although it would have been quite interesting to see him on the show, we have learned that he will not be a judge on the upcoming season.
Kodak Black Has Now Settled The Lawsuit Against The Label That Signed Him At 16
Kodak Black has now settled a dispute he had with the Florida label that signed him back when he was 16. Kodak filed a lawsuit against his former record label Dollaz and Dealz back in 2016. He says the label took advantage of him at the time of his 2013 signing. Kodak says he didn’t completely understand the terms of his contract because of his age and there was no attorney present.
