Luxury carmaker Bentley is recalling 820 cars worldwide over fears that its famous “Winged B” hood ornament could injure people in an accident because it might not properly retract. Bentley Motors European head office in Berlin said Thursday the recall affects 620 cars in the United States and Canada and 200 in Europe who added the raised hood ornament as an option on Arnage, Brooklands and Azure models made between October 2006 and March 2009.
Chevrolet has named Spike DDB as its African-American agency of record. The agency will begin work on the Chevy account immediately. Information on annual billings for the assignment were not provided in the announcement. The Brooklyn, NY-based agency is the first African-American shop named to handle a General Motors line since all of its black agency assignments were eliminated in 2009.

Word is that the wicked new bike will share more than a little blood with the flagship F4, though in place of the time/space-bending 998 cc mill, the smaller bike is likely to employ a slightly more humane engine. Early reports are pointing to either a 600 or 675 cc powerplant, though no one has been willing to throw out a guesstimate on exactly how many ponies the bike will lay down.
