You can never go wrong with a Mercedes-Benz. But you can do it even better with this 2014 E63 AMG. You know you always get luxury with this brand, but what’s under the hood of this ride is just as impressive as the look. How about 550HP standard! Or how about an upgraded 577HP! Word at the auto show was this E63 AMG drowned out all the background music when the engine roared onto the stage. I am sure it was an exaggeration but it makes the point of this engine. Concept cars are always fun. They give you an insight into what a car may look like a few years down the road, while still allowing you to use your own imagination. There will be many concept cars on display this week in Detroit at the International Auto Show, but this Hyundai Genesis concept will definitely be one of the popular ones. The suicide doors look crazy, along with the wheels, both of which are not guaranteed to make the production model. But this ride is about the inside as well. A head up display, a hand gesture recognition, and also a system that tracks the eyes of a driver to select options like audio and climate control. Technology at it’s finest! Doesn’t matter if your into cars or not. EVERYBODY knows the classic Corvette. For the first time in years the Corvette has gotten a make over. The 2014 Corvette Stingray, aka Corvette c7 was just revealed a short time ago in Detroit at the International Auto Show. The show runs all week. But Back to this sexy vette. This eye candy has a V8 engine that pushes about 450HP. It will go 0-60 in less than 4 seconds. Only 2 parts of the current Corvette were carried over to the new model, and that was a roof panel latch and a cabin air filter. I am not gonna say too much more for now. Do any of you car fans remember the game “F-Zero” for Super Nintendo? That is pretty much how I envision the eventual future of cars. That time really might not be too far off. We already have cars that assist with parking. We also know cars are being made as we speak that are able to drive on their own. Audi recently became the first car manufacturer to obtain a license in the U.S. to test driver-less cars on the road, which mean other auto makers will not be far behind. The future is here now people, get ready. Check the video below of an Audi A7 literally drive itself through a parking garage and park itself. Freaky! IamJOE357

Our troops are under alot of stress at times, so just like anyone, they need fun things to do to get away from it sometimes. But this is once again a case of the government just throwing money away at the expense of the taxpayer. The government spent $400K on a Go-Kart track for the troops at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. Now I am not mad at the troops getting to have fun things. I am more mad the stupid government we have decided $400,000 should be spent on that. It was opened in 2006, and by all accounts , since 2010 it has been a wasteland, completely unused. Another waste of money on an idea that was never really thought out. Take a look at the gallery to see pics of the track. It looks like it cost $100 and some dirt to make. IamJOE357
