Auto: Is Nissan Threatening It’s Own Workers?

Is one of the biggest automakers in the world using intimidation to threaten employees in the U.S.? If you ask the workers at the plant in Canton, Mississippi, the answer is yes! The claims revolve around voting to unionize at the plant. According to workers there, the company constantly tells them negative things surrounding a vote to unionize. So we been covering alot of the car releases the past 2 days from the Detroit Auto Show. So just in case some of you out there are tired of seeing car picture after car picture, I give you this. The video is not meant to be funny, but you wind up laughing. For some random reason the dude driving gets hype and starts to speed through city traffic and dip around cars until he makes the one bad decision. Check the video below. No matter how many colorful words you try to come up with to describe how dope this car is, it will never be good enough. The AUDI RS7 Sportsback, which will his the U.S. sometime later in 2013 is a sight to see. First off you better not be a punk when that front grill stares you down with that mean look. With the V8 engine that puts out about 552hp, and goes 0-62 in 3.9 seconds, well the bite matches the bark! All that power and it is still going to get on average 24mph. Not a bad number at all with that type of engine. The car will come with either 20 inch or optional 21 inch alloy wheels. You are going to have to be doing pretty well in life to afford it, but this is worth all the $$$. Check the gallery out. IamJOE357

I am loving this concept. I already was a fan of the Nissan Murano, and taking one look at this Nissan Resonance concept, you could very easily see this being the blueprint for the next Murano. The roof almost feels like it is not there at all which all the glass you can see through. The body work is mean, and when you have those 22 inch wheels on there it is definitely a site to see. There is not much details yet as to what is under the hood, but in the mean time just let your eyes focus on the detail that was put into the body. The sporty look combined with the cockpit design for the driver makes you feel travel the way it should be. Check out the gallery from the release in Detroit today. IamJOE357

I am not a fan of how this truck looks, but when you find out that it could possibly get 100mpg it can quickly change your opinion. Yes, I did say 100MPG, which is unheard of itself, but in a truck?? That is even more crazy. Via motors created this monster. It is a modified Chevy Silverado, and I mean really modified. It has a plug-in hybrid powertrain system underneath, which helps give it the fuel economy of a compact car, while still having a tough, mean look outside. The truck has 2, yes 2 separate electric motors that each put out about 402hp, so that means over 800hp!! CRAZY. The truck has been raised about 5 inches. It even comes with a built in Ipad, that sends info to the driver, but also more importantly can connect directly to the service department to help solve issues. A V8 gas generator is used when the battery gets below 20%, but it is only used to recharge and turns off once the battery is back above 25%. The most anticipated Hybrid car of year was finally revealed today at the Detroit Auto Show. For months Cadillac has teased the public with pics of the car that barely showed anything. All that did was build up even more anticipation to see the car in the flesh, and today here it is. The 2014 ELR! It has the classic style and luxury you except from Cadillac, but it also has pretty much taken the lead in the luxury hybrid market. The car will go about 35 miles on battery power, before the gasoline powered generator kicks in to give the car a total range of about 300 miles. This car is an important step in extending the brand to prospective buyers. The car will hit showrooms around early 2014. Bob Ferguson, Cadillac’s global Vice President said “It’s provocative. It’s technologically advanced. And it’s something that no other luxury player has right now.” I agree, picture all the amenities you get with Cadillac. Suede and leather trims, 20 inch wheels, class, integrity, and combine that without the gas guzzling machines we are used to and this is a hit. Check out the gallery. IamJOE357
