NFL: Desean Jackson Gives Back For Thanksgiving
I love when I see stories like this and I will always be more than happy to shed light on them. Desean Jackson made Thanksgiving happen for a family in Philadelphia. He handpicked a family for a Thanksgiving giveaway and personally took them shopping for all the trimmings. This is the second year now Jackson has done this. Giving back is what part of being successful is about and Desean clearly understands this. (Video) Victor Cruz Catches Pass From A Plane
Now if he will only learn to catch more consistently from Eli Manning!!! Victor Cruz this week made this video of him catching a pass dropped from a plane flying above as a promotional video to help fans vote for him for the pro bowl. Cruz, who has made a lot of big plays this year for the Giants, has also dropped quite a few passes. I’ll be a happy fan if he concentrates on game passes, instead of plane passes, although this video is somewhat cool because you have to figure by the time he catches the ball, it has to be traveling well over 100mph. NBA: Jeremy Lin Admits He Has Been “Exposed”
I could of told you this was going to happen last year. I am a Knicks fan and never bought into “Linsanity”. I am actually happy the Knicks decided not to bring him back, I thought he was wayyyy to over hyped for such a small sample of games. Judging by the early success of New York this season, I am sure they are also happy Lin is gone. NBA (Photos): Fans Go In On Houston Rockets Rookie Royce White
Fans can be so harsh!! LOL. Last week we did a story on Houston Rockets rookie Royce White, who suffers from severe anxiety disorder. His disorder is so severe he is already debating about retiring from professional basketball because he feels his team is not doing enough to help him with his disease and to try and accommodate him. He does not like to fly, which is a huge red flag for a professional athlete since games are played all over the country. I don’t really feel any pity for the dude because he has had this disorder for years, but has still continued to play ball knowing once he got to the NBA he would have to deal with a lot.
