We may finally be getting some answers as to why 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather had a random twitter war last month. I am sure you all recall the former BFF’s going at each other on twitter, dissing each other, but never really explained why. 50 is now speaking up with his side of the story. He stated yesterday during an interview that Floyd owes him $2 million dollars for putting the money up to get The Money Team Promotion company off and running while Mayweather was in jail. OK. So its not some NBA star destroying a backboard during a game, but still, its an impressive feat. The Globetrotters were playing in Ecuador this week and managed to break 2 backboards in one game. By now if your an NBA fan, you have heard that last night the coach of the San Antonio Spurs chose to send his 4 best players home to get some rest, instead of play them on a nationally televised game against the Miami heat. The commissioner David Stern has said there will be severe sanctions against the Spurs for doing so. There is no said rule that a coach can not rest his players, however the commissioner was very upset with the fact that some fans may of wanted to see the Spurs best players and were robbed of the chance. Coach Finds Out He Is About To Be Fired How?
GRIMEY!! That is pretty much all I can say about this situation. Morgan State University football coach Donald Hill-Eley has been the coach there for 10 years. You would think if they were going to fire him they would give him the respect to do it face to face or at least give him a heads up. Nope! Not this school.The coach actually found out about the whole plan to fire him and replace him when he was ACCIDENTALLY sent an email that was meant for other school administrators. The email actually detailed the entire plan to replace the coach. The crazy thing is this happened a couple days ago, and the president of the school has still not said anything to the coach about the email or the plan to fire him. This is a prime reason in sports of why players and coaches don’t trust management, or in this case, don’t trust the school officials. Check after the jump for more on the story. IamJOE357
NBA: Amare Stoudemire Trying For Christmas Return
Amare is hoping to be on the court Christmas day when the Knicks play a big game against Kobe and the Lakers. He has not played this season since having a procedure on his left knee. He was supposed to be out 6-8 weeks, which would pretty much be right on schedule for Christmas day. The Knicks have been playing very well in his absence, which has many fans wondering will it actually be a bad thing for the team when he comes back. At the end of the day, after Carmelo, Amare is the Knicks second best player, and when your making around $20 million for the season, as long as your healthy, your going to be out there playing.
