Boxing: Jean Pascal-Bernard Hopkins rematch close to being finalized

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal and former champion Bernard Hopkins are close to finalizing an agreement to meet in a rematch of their controversial draw, both sides told ESPN.com. If the deal is finalized, they would meet May 21 on HBO’s “World Championship Boxing” at a site to be determined, although Montreal (Pascal’s hometown) and Quebec City (where they fought the first time) are the most likely hosts.

Like a 7-foot center losing a jump ball to a 6-foot-2 guard. And a decent outside shooter deciding to pass as time expired instead of putting up a potential tying 3-pointer.

According to The Boston Globe, Hoopz is now filming a reality show based on her suburban life and her desire to become a women’s health and self-defense guru. Falling ice injures 5 at Dallas Cowboys Stadium

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Five people were injured by falling ice at Cowboys Stadium after another blast of winter slammed North Texas on Friday, a Super Bowl official said. Arnie Valdez with the Super Bowl safety committee said one person was critically injured and taken to a hospital. He did not immediately have details about the others and could not say why those injured were at the stadium.


NFL: Albert Haynesworth charged in road rage incident!

Police say he threw a punch at a fellow motorist Wednesday in a Washington, D.C., suburb. Fairfax County authorities told The Washington Post that Haynesworth, 29, plans to turn himself in next week through his attorney. But Haynesworth’s agent, Chad Speck, said Friday the player had yet to speak to police or prosecutors.


2011 NFL Pro Bowl Draws Huge Ratings – Highest in 14 yrs!
