Why Did Tyga Take Tupac Off Of His Album?
When Tyga released the tracklisting to his new album Hotel California (in stores now), fans were excited to see that Tupac was featured on track number 5, “Hit Em Up,” alongside Tyga and Jadakiss. Though we could already tell it’d just be a sample, as Pac has a very popular song of the same name, it would still be dope to hear how Tyga flipped it. Unfortunately, that version didn’t end up on the album. Find out why below!

I know I keep saying it, but I love this DUDE! Meek Mill stopped by one of Washington D.C.’s radio stations and clarified a few things. Rumor mill was that the dream chaser tried kicking game to Tyga’s baby’s mother. Well, those rumors are slammed. “I neva been that type of dude,” Meek says. Meek also says that since he’s been exteremly busy with touring and things of that nature the DC3 mixtape is only “half-way done.” We need to get this on the go guy. Despite what was initially suppose to be the drop date may change. Tyga has released the tracklisting for his upcoming Hotel California album dropping on April 9th, and he has some major names being featured on it! The usual suspects like Wayne, Chris Brown, Ross and 2 Chainz are on there (as well as Jadakiss, Future and Wiz Khalifa), but there’s one name that was very unsuspected and pretty cool! Considering the title of the track, it’s probably just a sample and not an actual unreleased verse, but it’s still dope. Find out who in the gallery.
