What was supposed to be peaceful global protests turned into violent riots in Rome. The Occupy Wall Street protests went global yesterday and Rome was one of cities that decided to take part in the protests but it took a turn for the worst. About 70 people were injured yesterday, cars were set on fire, and windows all over the city were smashed. Hundreds of protestors in hood flooded the streets of Rome in what has become one of the most violent protests/riots in the cities’ history. Read more after the jump. @Julie1205

The Occupy Wall Street movement has been kind of crazy the past few weeks. They tried to take over the Brooklyn Bridge over the weekend.
