Kendrick Lamar doesn’t have to do much to get the attention these days. It’s easy for him to hop on a “Control” verse and go silent, or drop and album and do a few shows here-n-there and go silent. Unlike Meek Mill, Kendrick’s recent rage against Drake wasn’t a big stir, but got enough attention; as did his latest performance at Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco. The Compton native turned day-two of the festival into a party of old and new verses as he performed “m.A.A.d city” from his original debut album as well some his from the most recent, To Pimp A Butterfly.

Apple Music Will Premier Dr. Dre’s ‘Compton’ Album This Thursday

The wait is almost over. Compton: A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre is set to drop this Thursday on iTunes And Apple Music. This is the first album Dr. Dre’s put out in 16 years and the anticipation is unbearable.
