The Numbers Are In! Find Out How Much Young Thug’s ‘Barter 6’ Sold The First Week!

Though Young Thug touted the controversial Barter 6 as just a mixtape, it was still made for sale on iTunes like Drake’s If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late – but unlike Drake, Thugger’s did not sell very well. After one week, Barter 6 debuts at a measly 26 on the Billboard 200, with just under 19,000 sold. In comparison, last week’s other semi-surprise release – Tyler, The Creator’s Cherry Bomb – sold 58k and debuted at number 4. Hopefully Thugger’s official debut fares a little better. (Photos) You Guessed It; T.I. Comes To The Aide Of Iggy Azalea – AGAIN!

Damn you 140-character driven social media. As he should, T.I. has come to Iggy Azalea’s defense, yet again. After Azealia Banks spoke with Hot 97’s morning crew, she caused a great debate involving racism and hip hop. Of course, Iggy happened to have been the center of that debate, due to the two having a well-known and on-going beef. Following the interview, some artists were not feeling Banks and other artists, like Q-Tip, had her back. “@IGGYAZELEA hiphop now was FOR EVERYBODY!! All of those who cld relate to the root, the spirit, the history, the energy.. It reached YOU,” Q_Tip tweeted. “@IGGYAZALEA the music was undeniable! It moved from NY N became national and even GLOBAL,” he continued on in a two-hour long session. You know you can’t come for Iggy without the king homie sitting in a corner. Let’s just say, if you thought Q-Tip went in for quite some time, hit the jump to see what T.I. had to say in Iggy’s defense.
