Mussolini’s Clothes Up For Auction
A suitcase full of clothing belonging Italian dictator Benito Mussolini and his mistress, Claretta Petacci, are set to be auctioned off and expected to bring in thousands of dollars! The suitcase dates back to World War II when an Army corporal found the suitcase and sent it to his own home to keep. The clothes are now over 65 years old and were taken when the dictator and mistress were captured before their execution in April 1945. Read more after the jump. @Julie1205

California Lawmakers Pass Bill Banning Shark-Fin Trade
California’s Legislature sent Gov. Jerry Brown a bill seeking to ban the sale, trade or possession of shark fins, over the objections of two senators who called the measure racist because the fins are used in a soup considered a delicacy in some Asian cultures.
