Last night (November 20th), Brooklyn’s own Troy Ave tore down the Highline Ballroom in NYC along side his B$B members Young Lito, King Sevin & Avon Blocksdale. Hosted by Elliott Wilson with Hot 97’s own DJ Funk Flex on the set, the crowd showed Pretty Boy Troy the most love as he took his talents back home for this special show. Harry Powder brought out special guest emcees including Maino, Raekwon and Fat Joe who all co-signed the fact that Troy Ave has brought New York Hip-Hop back to the glory days! To end the night off right after performing so many classics, Troy closed out the show with his club banger “All About The Money.” Check out some of the highlights from the show below. Alexandra Shipp, Actress Who Played Aaliyah Wanted Timbaland To Like The Movie

Zendaya had the right idea when she backed out of the role as, Aaliyah. Alexandra Shipp on the other hand – poor girl didn’t see the slam coming. Well, she admitted to being hesitant, but the script is what pulled her in. Prior to Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B‘s airing, Shipp talked to XXL about her role in the movie and her hopes that Timbaland and Missy Elliott would like what they watched. “I went into this from a place of love and admiration. Even though all the components weren’t able to come together in the end, I’m really proud of the work I did,” she says. “I hope that they watch and that they like it.” Okay, that SHIPP – LMAO – has sailed. Michelle’s A**-Stounding backside and more, the Bawse went to get fresh for the rest of the evening. Hosted by Elliott Wilson, Ross threw a Hood Billionaire listening party stocked with hip hop elite such as Remy Ma, L.O.X., DJ Khaled, Stalley, Fat Trel and surely a few black bottle(s); girls. As an added bonus, Rozay was presented with a plaque by Def Jam’s CEO, Steve Bartels for having five million records sold in previous albums. Ugh (Ross grunt). Check out more down bottom.
