Talk about bad timing. Amidst waiting by Bobbi Kristina’s hospital bed, Bobby Brown recently announced that his wife, Alicia Etheridge, is four months pregnant with their child. The two made the announcement while sitting by Bobbi Kristina’s bed at Emory University Hospital. Although they refrained from telling family and friends for awhile, it was apparently “too obvious.” Bobbi Kristina suffered from serious brain damage after a possible overdose/suicide attempt left her face down in a bathtub, unresponsive. This is a bittersweet time for Brown because he almost lost his oldest while celebrating the news of a new baby on the way. There is also currently a huge war going on between Bobby’s family and late wife, Whitney Houston’s fam. This can’t be an easy situation for a pregnant woman to be stuck in the middle of but according to sources, Alicia is handling the entire ordeal quite well. Bobbi Kristina’s brain still isn’t functioning fully, but hopefully she will be able to pull through. Congrats to Bobby and Alicia on their pregnancy.

I guess bobby wanted to clear his name before everyone starts bad mouthing him and calling him a cheater. Bobby cheating wasn’t anything new he has multiple children by different women during their relationship. There has been much negative banter about the upcoming Whitney Houston biopic – Whitney’s mother speaking against its making, the movie’s director, Angela Bassett and Bobbi Kristina going back-and-forth and the biggest fail being the decision not to use Whitney’s actual voice [songs will be sung by Deborah Cox]. However, the show must go on. ET got a behind-the-scenes look into the production of the upcoming movie and spoke with all major players, including Yaya DaCosta – playing Whitney Houston. DaCosta may have Whitney’s movements down packed, but to see how she will portray her to the T will have to wait until it’s Lifetime release next year. With all of the negative attention the movie has acquired, Yaya tries to stay away from social media to remain level-headed. “I kind of shut off all social media because I didn’t want to be distracted by the expectations, the naysayers,” she says.
