False Alarm: Trinidad James Did NOT Win A Grammy For “Uptown Funk”

Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’s “Uptown Funk” won two Grammy’s the other day for “Record of the Year” and “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.” Trinidad James was credited on the song due to the fact that his “All Gold Everything” was inserted in the hook. Unfortunately, this does not mean that James won a Grammy for the song.

Trinidad James is doing everything he can to stay relevant. After being dropped from Def Jam last year, the Atlanta rapper has basically reevaluated his career and has decided to take it into a new direction. James got lucky after Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars sampled his infamous lyric from “All Gold Everything” for their chart-topping hit “Uptown Funk.” Now he’s focused on reviving his career with a new book that will show the fans another side of him. WELP: Trinidad James Says He’s Looking For A Fly Girl In New York With “Good P*ssy”

Trinidad James might have been dropped from Def Jam and lost his record deal but that isn’t stopping him from trying to find his perfect definition of a female in the Tri-State area. The “All Gold Everything” rapper took to his Twitter account to basically put out an ad seeking a chick (cheaper and less of a hassle than signing up for a dating sight, right?) Trinidad writes, “I need a NY girlfriend. Fly. Spanish. Black. White. Attitude ridiculous. P*ssy Good.” Just as we expected, a few “haters” came at Trinidad with some extreme slander but he fired right back in no time. Check out Trinidad’s Twitter talk over in the gallery!
