On July 1 (yeah, she’s a first of the month baby), Tamera Mowry-Housley gave birth to Ariah Talea Housley. Now that Ariah is six-months-old, Tamera sat down with Mini Magazine to talk the transition from mother of one to mother of two. “It was a challenging three months, but once she turned four months old, he was fine as she started to take him in,” she said. “Aden would make her laugh and she recognized him. They’re cool and he loves to give her kisses now.”

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton transformed into “Santa Cam” wearing a “Dabbin Santa” sweater and making four surprise stops giving away gifts. For stop one, Cam went to Metro School, for stop two, Cam surprised some kids with a $200 shopping spree at Dick’s Sporting Goods. Stop three was a special treat as he was joined by “Ride Along 2” stars Kevin Hart and Ice Cube. The two were doing a promotional run for their new movie and joined Cam Newton at Harding University high school to present them with a $7500 check to renovate their weight room. They also had an impromptu weightlifting display by Hart.

Many people aren’t too fond with Anthony Mackie right now, in fact, many are turn their heads to the side in completely “huh?” face with confusion. Coming fresh off his role as The Falcon in Marvel’s Captain America series, Mackie “dreamed of playing” the character, however Chadwick Boseman was cast in the titular role for a five-picture deal. The film “Black Panther” will have Marvel’s first African American Superhero and Mackie says he has no problem with a white director being the captain of this movie’s ship.
Take Two: Chris Rock Will Host The 2016 Academy Awards
Chris Rock made history as the first black host of the Academy Awards back in 2005. The beloved comedian announced today he is returning for round two, and will be hosting this year’s telecast. He made the announcement via Twitter, stating “Look who’s back #Oscars” The Academy producers and CEO praised Rock for his talent and credentials calling him and industry MVP. Oscars producers David Hill and Reginald Hudlin said, “Comedian, actor, writer, producer, director, documentarian — he’s done it all,” adding, “He’s going to be a phenomenal Oscar host!” “Chris may be best known as a stand-up comic, but we think of him as a creative innovator in many other ways. He is unafraid in his artistry,” said Academy CEO Dawn Hudson. You can catch Chris Rock hosting the awards when it airs on February 28th.
