Congratulations, Ed Sheeran! Ed Sheeran has just set a major Spotify record. The English crooner has just become the first artist to reach 500 million plays on Spotify for a single song. Sheeran’s hit single, “Thinking Out Loud” from his x album is the first to get half a billion streams. Sheeran was excited to learn of the news. He said, Chuffed to hear that ‘Thinking Out Loud’ has had half a billion plays on Spotify,” he continued, “Being the first artist to hit that milestone is amazing.” He later added, “Thanks to all the people who use this as a wedding song, soundtrack to a date, and as a way to woo someone into a Netflix and chill situation.” LOL! Nicki Minaj Will Open Up The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards
Nicki Minaj will be opening up the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday, MTV has announced. The female MC will join previously announced performers Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Pharrell Williams, Demi Lovato, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Tori Kelly, A$AP Rocky and Twenty One Pilots who are scheduled to hit the VMA stage. Miley Cyrus will host the proceedings, and Kanye West will be receiving the ceremony’s highest honor, the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

Justin Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun hosted a $2,700 a person fundraiser at his home on Thursday night and he had some big faces on the scene including the West’s, Kris Jenner and Hillary Clinton. Kim was able to snap a selfie with Mrs. Clinton while her hubby photobombed them big time. Of course, Kanye didn’t smile but it made for a dope pic. Kim captioned the pic, “I got my selfie!!!
