Ashanti stepped out for a bite to eat at popular Beverly Hills eatery The Ivy yesterday, and basically told Nelly to eat his heart out with the outfit she was wearing! Dressed in white pants and a black and white blouse, Shan showed off a to-die-for physique and a booty that would turn even Nicki Minaj’s head. The latest word in the blog world is that Ashanti and her longtime beau Nelly broke off their close to 10 year relationship, and he’s now gallivanting around with model/actress Tae Heckard. Ashanti is back in the limelight for the first time in a while, gearing up to drop her new album Braveheart in June (her first since 2008), and currently starring in a recurring role on the Lifetime series, Army Wives. During an interview with The Grio (where she talks acting and music and blah, blah, blah), the singer/actress revealed she’s been in touch with the currently-incarcerated Ja Rule quite frequently, and there may even be a possibility of another one of their smash hits! I love Ashanti, she’s my girl and all but come on! I couldn’t even defend an outfit like this if it was on Beyonce herself. This is just pain horrible looking. Ferragamo out here seriously giving Ashanti a bad name (or vice versa). The outfit was a black & white striped top which was see-through, and not even that good kind of see-through outfit! She was attending MTV in New York City’s Times Square on Monday – looking like this. Oh! And as if the outfit wasn’t bad enough, the shoes just tops it all off… making me feel completely dizzy!
