The Smith father and son duo are back at it! Will and Jaden Smith will be together on the big screen again in a new M. Night Shyamalan Sci-Fi thriller. According to Sony, Jaden will be on an abdanoed planet trying to rescue his father who will be played by none other than his real life father, Will. Will Smith Gives 30 Laptops To A School In Philly
After a school in West Philly reported that 60 laptops were stolen, The Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation and the Charlie Mack Cares organization donated 30 new laptops to replace some of the stolen ones. The Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation was created to help inner-city children and their families. Jay-Z has confirmed that he has signed Will Smith’s daughter Willow to a new deal on his label, Roc Nation.
Jay-Z appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s show this morning and confirmed rumors that he snatched up Willow, whose song “Whip My Hair” has generated an instant buzz. “We at Roc Nation are excited to work with Willow,” Jay-Z told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “She has an energy and enthusiasm about her music that is truly infectious. Â It’s rare to find an artist with such innate talent and creativity at such a young age. Sylvester Stallone Consults With “Creed” Director Ryan Coogler Before Boycotting The Oscars
Sylvester Stallone has been nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar. Before stepping on stage to receive the award he consulted with African-American “Creed” movie director Ryan Coogler. Stallone says that he was 100% down with boycotting The Oscars has Coogler told him to do so. Boycotting The Oscars goes with the hashtag, #OscarsSoWhite, after a few stars such as Jada Pinkett-Smith, Will Smith and Spike Lee have lead the pack of fighting for diversity at The Oscars.
