Katy Perry has yet another hit on her hands, and Juicy J is riding the wave right along with her. Their collab “Dark Horse” off Katy’s recent album PRISM has shot to number one, becoming KP’s ninth number one single…thanks in part to their performance of the song at the Grammys on Sunday. However, with the chart tally closing on Sunday night, we’ll see the full impact of their performance on next week’s charts. “Dark Horse” hitting number one brings Katy into a five-way tie for 10th place among artists with the most toppers in the chart’s 55-year history. The Beatles lead with 20 number ones, followed by Mariah Carey (18), Michael Jackson, Rihanna (13 each), Madonna, the Supremes (12 each), Whitney Houston (11), Janet Jackson and Stevie Wonder (10 each). NFL: WOW People Send Crazy Complaints to the FCC About Beyonce’s Super Bowl Halftime Performance!
While most of us were totally in LOVE with Beyonce’s Super Bowl halftime performance, others were UPSET and it’s not just PETA. They were so upset they let the FCC have it, with a barrage of complaints. Beyonce isn’t the first to upset the audience with her halftime performance, M.I.A ticked people off when she gave the camera her middle finger and everyone remembers the infamous Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake performance that displayed Janet’s pierced nipple for the world to see.
