This morning, the nominees for the 2016 GRAMMY Awards were announced. With his newest nods, Kendrick Lamar is now a 20-time GRAMMY Award nominee! This marks his second Album Of The Year album now as well with To Pimp A Butterfly, and competes against himself in both the Best Rap Song category and the Best Music Video category. Logic’s First Week Sales Projections Are Currently Beating Jeezy’s
Friday, November 13 was a huge day in music, with so many albums being released, iTunes’ internal systems were crashing multiple times throughout the day! Among the day’s new releases were Justin Bieber, One Direction, Ty Dolla $ign, Jeezy, Logic, Alessia Cara, Redman, Kirk Franklin and more. That’s a heavy lineup! First week sales projections are currently in for a few of the names, and perhaps surprisingly, Logic is far surpassing his more seasoned labelmate, Jeezy, with sales of The Incredible True Story and Church In These Streets, respectively.

Looks like YG is going to have to cut some people out of his posse after an incident that occurred in Hollywood Thursday night. The rapper and his crew showed up to 1OAK on the Sunset Strip looking to party. The group first arrived at the back door where the bouncer turned them away for having “too many dudes.” With the help of the VIP guy, YG and his people were then escorted to the front of the club just to be denied again for the same reason. The VIP guy even pleaded his case saying, Wiz Khalifa and Justin Bieber were both scheduled to arrive at the club that night but the bouncer stood his ground saying, “Wiz comes with girls!” Check out the video below.

November 13 Is Shaping Up To Be A Huge Day In Album Releases!
On June 14, 2013, it was a huge day in new music releases. Kanye West, Mac Miller, J. Cole and Kelly Rowland all dropped albums that day, with Kanye winning the coveted number one spot that following week when sales numbers were released. It appears that November 13, 2015 will be a similar situation. Not only will Jeezy release his new album Church In These Streets, but Justin Bieber will release his first album in three years, Purpose, Logic will release his sophomore effort The Incredible True Story, Ty Dolla $ign will drop his debut album Free TC, Alessia Cara will drop her debut album Know It All and popular boyband One Direction will drop Made In The A.M.
