The first two charges are felonies, while the last one is a misdemeanor.


NFL player arrested after drunken canal swim

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Indianapolis police have arrested Colts punter Pat McAfee after they found him swimming in a canal in a nightlife district. Police arrested McAfee at about 5 a.m. Wednesday in the Broad Ripple district and took him to an arrestee processing center. Officers say the 23-year-old, in his second NFL season out of West Virginia, had a blood-alcohol content of 0.15 — nearly twice the legal limit.


T.I. Speaks Out About 11 Month Sentence

As we reported, rapper T.I. was recently sentenced to another 11 months in prison after violating his probation on drug charges (smh…people don’t learn!). Regarding this sentence, T.I. said

“I want drugs out of my life. If I can get the treatment and counseling I need… I can beat this. I need help. For me, my mother, my kids, I need the court to give me mercy.”

More kids and teens are smoking marijuana at younger ages, according to data collected by the National Survey on Drug Use and Health. From 2008 to 2009, there was a 9 percent increase – to 7.3 percent of people age 12 or older – who currently use marijuana. During the same time period, the average age of first-time marijuana users decreased to 17 years old.
