Brian Banks Finally Gets His Shot At The NFL

Ten years ago, at the age of 16, linebacker Brian Banks made a verbal commitment to Pete Carroll’s USC football team.  After being wrongfully accused and convicted of rape, spending 5 years in prison and another 5 years on parole, Banks was finally exonerated.  This past Thursday he finally got to work out for Pete Carroll with an opportunity to play for the Seattle Seahawks. Peter Rosenberg Addresses “Starships” Comment

As you all know by now, Nicki Minaj & the YMCMB camp pulled out of Hot 97’s Summer Jam because of a comment made by morning show host Peter Rosenberg on the festival stage. “I know there some chicks here waiting to sing “Starships” later, I’m not talking to y’all right now, f*ck that bullsh*t,” Rosenberg told the crowd. “I’m here to talk about real hip-hop. The people here to see A$AP Rocky, people to see Schoolboy Q!” After finishing out the show last night and doing his weekly Sunday night slot on Hot 97 where he talks to underground artists, Peter took to his Twitter and the airwaves to speak on the situation this morning.
