Remember when Erykah Badu shaded Iggy Azalea at the Soul Train Awards? I know right, how could anyone forget. Well since then Erykah Badu has apologized to Iggy but it seems as if the conversation on whether Iggy should be labeled as a rapper is still hot! In a recent interview with VladTV Taxstone of Tax Season was asked, if he thinks that Iggy Azalea is not a rapper and he quickly responded, “I think Iggy Azalea is a rapper!” Read more after the jump to find out what else Taxstone had to say.

Iggy Azalea has spent the latter half of 2015 working on her sophomore effort, which we recently learned is named Digital Distortion. Though she’s been on yet another Twitter hiatus as of late, Erykah Badu’s surprising shade last week nudged Iggy from her slumber, and she’s back to being active on the social network once again. With that, the Australian import has decided to preview some new music, and she did so in the form of a quick clip from the studio. The track, “7teen,” has a trap feel to it, and she fittingly shouts out two of the people at the forefront of the current trap movement – Future and DJ Esco. Sales Projections For Rick Ross, G-Eazy & More Are Here!

As expected, Adele is number one on the Billboard 200 for the second week in a row with 25, this time selling an additional 1.16 million units. As for debuts this week. Erykah Badu’s But You Caint Use My Phone comes in just outside of the top 10 at 14 with 35k, while a compilation of Biggie‘s greatest hits is at 48 with 15k. Looking forward to next week, some of the early sales projections are in for the many new releases from this past Friday. G-Eazy’s When It’s Dark Out is in the lead, looking to move around 115k–130k. Behind him is Rick Ross’ Black Market, projected at 60k–65k, and behind him Kid Cudi’s Speedin’ Bullet 2 Heaven with 18k–21k. Also expected to make their Billboard 200 debut are Curren$y, Jeremih and Sheek Louch, though their numbers aren’t available yet. Check out this week’s top 10 below!

It’s been a helluva year for actor turned rapper, Drake; the good and the bad. Right now, it’s one of those low moments because he is yet again being accused of biting someone else’s music. Months back, when Drake released his “Hotline Bling” single, while catchy, it was quickly compared to upcoming artist D.R.A.M.’s single “Cha Cha.” During the Toronto rapper’s release, Beats 1 – the single was first heard on the Beats 1 Radio show OVO Sound – even tweeted the single’s title as “Hotline Bling (Cha Cha Remix), however, things have become a tad big shaky with D.R.A.M. feeling jacked and speaking out on it.
