It was announced by the NBA that he will be suspended 1 game and fined $20,000 for punching Patrick Beverley of the Rockets during the game. A college basketball game last night that normally wouldn’t have even made the highlights was front and center for a different reason. At the end of the game between Utah Valley University and New Mexico State, which was won by Utah Valley, one of the players from New Mexico State was a sore loser and threw the ball at a player from the opposing team as the clock expired. At this same exact time fans were running onto the court to celebrate the win and that is when all hell broke loose. Players & fans were both throwing punches in a crazy scene before order was restored. This could have gotten much worse. Check out the video after the jump.
