Good news just in for the Hip-Hop/ Soul world. Common and John Legend have just been added to the bill to perform during the 2015 Academy Awards which will be airing on February 22nd. The two will perform their collab track “Glory” off of the Selma soundtrack. Their song is also up for an Oscar award, making their performance even more exciting! John and Common collaborated for the song ‘Glory’ and took home the award for best original song. This is so awesome. Common spoke about change and gave a very touching speech when he accepted his award. He thanked many people including Opera. He said: “I am the unarmed black kid who maybe needed a hand but instead was given a bullet.” Mean while previous to the award ceremony John Legend and Chrissy Teigen looked hot at the red carpet.
