Back in 2012, T.I. and Azealia Banks went at it on Twitter, when Tip rode out for his artist Iggy Azalea after Banks was throwing shots at her for making it on the XXL Freshman cover. Though it was never really “squashed,” the beef eventually subsided, as both T.I. and Iggy actually have careers to worry about…and Azealia well, yeah. Looks like the “212” rapper is trying to breathe life back in her dying rap career, though, and earlier this week, took to Twitter to troll both T.I. and Tiny in a series of tweets. An exchange with Tip ensued, and below, he speaks on the whole situation with MTV.

If you don’t know her for anything else, Azealia Banks is known for being in the middle of some s**t talking. This go ’round after listening to T.I.’s Iggy Azalea assisted track, “No Mediocre” Banks throws extreme shade at the grand hustle homie and his wife, Tiny. “You want no mediocre…but have you seen your wife,” Banks tweeted (and then deleted). Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 6/1/14 … Congrats To Mariah Carey On A #3 Debut!
Mariah Carey’s semi-surprise album Me. I Am Mariah. may or may not have fared so well on the charts (depending on how you look at it,) coming in at number 3 with 58k sold in its first week. Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 5/25/14 … Coldplay Makes Biggest Debut Of 2014!
Coldplay’s new album Ghost Stories marks the group’s fourth number one album…as well as the biggest sales week of 2014 thus far! The project sold 383,000 copies in the week ending May 25, easily taking Eric Church’s crown, who previously held the title with “The Outsiders” moving 288k units in the week ending February 16. According to a Forbes piece published last week, Hip Hop has a new Australian Queen named Iggy Azalea. Forbes made a very bold remark stating that Nicki has been “oddly quiet” this year (even with her releases of “Chi-Raq” and “Lookin’ Ass N—a.”?) , leaving Iggy Azalea nothing but room to flourish. But of course the YMCMB princess begs to differ!
