‘ Erykah Badu’s nose piercing is nothing new, but the new jewelery she has adorning it certainly is…and it’s insane! Switching from her usual diamond stud, the newest face of Givenchy showed off an extremely large ring that’s not only pretty hard on the eyes but looks quite painful as well! This is dope. Erykah Badu has been tapped as the new face of Givenchy’s spring 2014 campaign…and it’s the first campaign of its kind to exclusively use women of color. “There was a lot of talk this season in fashion [about designers not promoting diversity],” Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci said. “I was one of the persons who ended up not being touched by this.” And he REALLY loves Badu. I mean, who doesn’t? Erykah, she’s an icon—come on!” he said. “What I want to do with my advertising campaign is spread the love.” “She’s one of the most stylish women I’ve met in my life,” he added. “She’s got such a good sense of proportion, of colors.” Love it!
