On last week’s episode of The Mindy Project, the show’s star Mindy Kaling made a joke about former Newark, New Jersey mayor and current state Senator, Cory Booker.
“Cory Booker? I can’t believe he came,” her character said. “I guess anything to get out of Newark, huh?”
This prompted a funny response from Sen. Booker – which then sparked quite a flirty exchange. Hmm! These two would be a pretty cute couple…
