Straight Outta Compton star O’Shea Jackson Jr. will be starring in Legendary’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters, should all current negotiations go right. Already signed on are Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, as well as Kyle Chandler and Vera Farmiga.

O’Shea has been keeping busy since his breakout role as his father, Ice Cube, in 2015’s Straight Outta Compton. Variety named him named one of Sundance Film Festival 2017’s breakout stars for his role alongside Aubrey Plaza and Elizabeth Olsen in Ingrid Goes West, and he’s currently in Atlanta filming an action flick, Den of Thieves.

Godzilla: King of Monsters is set to hit theaters on March 22, 2019.
