“Tables turned, lesson learned, my best look
You jumped sides on me, now you ’bout to meet Westbrook”
Those are a couple of the bars Kendrick Lamar was dropping on his newest track “The Hear Part IV”, and it’s safe to say Russell Westbrook is a big fan of K.Dot and a big fan of hearing one of his favorite rappers drop his name in a song.
Kendrick is of course referencing the “beef’ between Russ & Kevin Durant and how KD left Russ behind to do his own thing and it created a monster. The day the song came out it was clear Russ was already a fan.

He then spoke about it with reporters on Friday.
“I’m happy. Whenever you hear your name in a song, you feel like you’ve made it,” the All-Star guard said Friday. “I feel like I’ve made it. Especially from my man.”
