While there was March Madness going on Friday, including that epic game between Wisconsin and Florida, the NBA was still playing their regular schedule, although the games might not have been getting the normal attention they would if the NCAA tournament wasn’t going on. While most fans were tuned in to the college game, history was made in the NBA as Devin Booker became just the sixth player in league history to score 70 points!
Booker scored 70 points in a loss to the Boston Celtics, which included 51 points in the second half. He and his teammates pretty much celebrated after the game and even though it was a loss, the Suns don’t have anything to play for so it was no big deal they tried to enjoy the atmosphere in the locker room after the game.
You can watch all the buckets Booker got on Friday below. He is only 20 years old and joined some serious NBA company with his performance.
Players with 70-pt games in NBA history: Wilt Chamberlain, Kobe Bryant, David Thompson, David Robinson, Elgin Baylor & now Devin Booker

Congrats to Booker on accomplishing such a difficult feat at the highest level. All season long he has shown flashes that he will be a big time scorer in the league for years to come and Friday was just the biggest example of that.
