Lil Yachty was all over SXSW this year, but apparently, the experiences weren’t all positive.

While performing for his label’s showcase on Friday night at the YouTube space, reports state that Yachty was low on energy and even “anti-charisma,” adding that he had trouble staying on beat during the 40-minute set. Perhaps this is why the crowd had a lackluster response to what is arguably Yachty’s biggest track (well, feature), “Broccoli.”

“Damn that shit was so crazy,” Yachty said when he finished performing, looking at the dead crowd. “That shit sounded like y’all dreaded that shit.” This prompted an attendee to respond with, “You got no energy, n*gga!” and it escalated quickly from there.
