Following the Remy Ma diss track, Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriend Safaree got a chance to visit “The Wendy Williams Show” and speak his peace on the whole situation and on his relationship with Nicki.
When asked about his name being in Remy’s diss track Safaree said,
“It’s crazy because, my name just being in it. I was on a flight when that landed, and then when I landed I’m like, I hoping somebody didn’t die because I had about 300 calls and text messages of a whole bunch of people hitting me up.”
Safaree also says that Nicki owes him and he would like to be paid for his “collaborative effort” of making music. He said,
It’s only fair. Suppose you went and you worked on the Wendy show for a good eight [or] nine months, and then at the end of the nine months, the show blows up.”
Safaree even had a message for Nicki saying,
“Do what’s right,” he said. “That’s it. Do what’s right. You know what I did.”
Even he agreed that the record was a very disrespectful one.
“It’s just a very disrespectful, disrespectful record. Like, it’s probably one of the most disrespectful records I’ve ever heard in my life. It’s not even about the streets being behind [Nicki] or not. It’s like, what can you even say to Remy? There’s really not much.”
