Remy Ma dropped her diss to Nicki Minaj, “ShETHER,” nearly 48 hours ago now. On the song, she makes some pretty shocking accusations, including that Nicki has slept with Hot97’s Ebro Darden, Trey Songz, Lil Wayne, Drake AND Gucci Mane. Sheesh!
Of course, everyone has their opinions on the song and they’ve been discussing it on social media. Even if they’re a Nicki fan (like myself), most people have been unbiased and admitted that Remy certainly created a great diss track. However, there’s still plenty of room for Nicki to clap back and kill it, but so far, all we’ve seen is responses on social media!

First, Nicki took to Instagram and posted the dismal album sales of Remy and Fat Joe’s new joint album, Plato o Plomo. Aside from her Barbz, hip-hop fans and music industry folks all cringed at her reply – as sales don’t equate to bars and that’s what we want in this battle!
Then she posted a video of Beyoncé praising her – another weird move in this beef because, what is the relevancy? And since then, she’s been getting at everyone BUT Rem.
First it was Trey Songz, who Nicki was upset at because he didn’t come outright and say NO WE DID NOT HAVE SEX. He engaged back and forth with her and said that he still loves her and of course they did not have sex, but the person she should be mad at is Remy, not him. After that, she started favoriting tweets from her fans saying that she gave Trey life and was the reason for his success, and other things of that nature.
She also reportedly sent texts to Charlemagne and DJ Envy, calling them “fake” for tweeting about the diss and saying Remy went in. She was also mad that they never said anything about her verse on Gucci Mane’s “Make Love,” (which appears to be the verse that had set Remy off.)
Nicki has since deleted the sales post. She has also followed The Game, who caped for her by getting at Meek for liking all the IG posts that were shading Nick. Do you think she will eventually clap back on wax?
