In a shocking move Sunday night right after the All-Star game, the Sacramento Kings traded DeMarcus Cousins to the New Orleans Pelicans. In exchange for Cousins and Omri Casspi, the Kings received Buddy Hield, Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway, the Pelicans’ 2017 first-round pick, and the Sixers’ 2017 second-round pick. Most critiques of the trade say the Kings could’ve gotten more for the “best center” in the league. The Pelicans seem to agree as they put this post on Twitter soon after the trade was announced.
