The Celebrity game during All-Star weekend has always been a fun event to watch but in the past couple years it has turned out to be the dud of all the events from the weekend. It’s terrible basketball with not much interest from the fans since Kevin Hart stopped playing but last night a 14 year old boy saved the game all by himself.
Jarrius Robertson, a New Orleans native who is a Saints superfan and somewhat of a celebrity in the NOLA, hit the biggest shot on the night that sent the crowd into a frenzy. Robertson is fighting liver disease and is waiting on a second transplant but that wasn’t going to stop him from being the talk of the night.

One of the best parts of that clip is when Draymond Green is telling him he better score and Jarrius tells him “man, you’re losing already.”
The east team wound up beating the west 88-59 but the final score was irrelevant after Jarrius shut things down. His shirt said “It takes lives to save lives”, and is an ode to people being organ donors and let’s hope Jarrius gets that transplant he needs. He has superstar written all over him.
