Chance the Rapper has now taken home a Grammy for Best Rap Album while being an independent artist. This was huge. Chance spoke on DJ Drama, SoundCloud, and his independent status in hip-hop.
Chance said,
“I know people think that independence means you do it by yourself. But independence means freedom.”
