An initial report stated the New York Knicks were trying to trade Carmelo Anthony to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Kevin Love, but the Cavs turned the deal down as they were unwilling to part with Love whom they consider a big part of their success. LeBron James responded to that report saying they have to play with who they have and can’t play ‘fantasy basketball.’ Monday another report was released saying the Melo/Love trade was possibly happening and LeBron was the person pushing for it. This time LeBron’s response contained more fire.
“I saw it and heard about it,” James said. “It’s trash. And the guy who wrote it is trash, too.”
The report was written by Frank Isola for the New York Daily News.
