“The Old Man” got busted .. and now reveals what happens when you steal millions of dollars in diamonds and gold.
So Kim’s four million dollar engagement ring and her 20-carat emerald sparkler that were stolen on that fateful night in Paris, might have a chance returning back to it’s rightful owner. But for the rest of the $10 million in jewelry? It’s long gone…
According to Page Six, Aomar Ait Khedache, the 60-year-old mastermind behind the scheme, revealed that the jewels were melted down and sold in Antwerp, Belgium:
“We all made the decision to melt them. One of the people took care of it.”
The mastermind has become known as “The Old Man” and revealed that there are still two other pieces of jewelry that have yet to be melted because of how recognizable they are:
“There is a person who has it. Everyone was afraid to sell because it’s a stone that’s very easily spotted.”
Khedache listed the heist as a “very simple affair” and revealed they just used her social media presence to track her:
“She specified that she didn’t wear fakes, the schedules when she came to France. It was enough to look on the internet to know everything, absolutely everything.”
Better watch those locations folks…
