A wild scene unfolded in Birmingham, Alabama last night in a college basketball game between UAB and Louisiana Tech. With only about six minutes left in the game, a brawl was sparked when UAB’s Hakeem Baxter tried to punch Jacobi Boykins of La. Tech, after Baxter was annoyed with UAB players celebrating a basket. Chaos ensued and while there was mostly just pushing and shoving, it led to an incredible amount of ejections.

Here’s another angle of the drama.
Perhaps the craziest part of all of this, was since players from both benches ran onto the court during the melee, they were all ejected. Louisiana Tech had to finish the game with only 4 players, while UAB only had five players left at the end.

UAB wound up winning 79-70 but there will definitely be more suspensions from this game.
