Chrisette Michelle has now agreed to perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration. Her team was a bit hesitant on the backlash she would receive something like singer Jennifer Holliday, who recently has backed out. Trump’s people contacted Michelle to perform “Intentional” alongside singers Travis Greene, Jonathan McReynolds, and Tye Tribute. Three of the artist rejected the offer which is when Michelle agreed to do a solo set.
Quest love has since responded to the news saying,
I’d pay Chrisette to NOT perform ?
Many people took to Twitter to express their disappointment in the motown singer. One person tweeted,
I hope whatever Donald Trump is paying Chrisette Michele is enough to last her a lifetime because 90% of her fans are gone.
This has even started a hashtag called #ChrisetteisCanceled.
