3 people shot, 5 injured during a Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park. Miami-Dade Police responded to the shooting just before 4 p.m. Three people were transported to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. One of those three were taken to the trauma unit.
A lot of children were crying as they were stampeded while trying to find their parents. During the parade shooting, alot of people were seen ducking for cover underneath vendor tables and behind walls. Two women looked like they had been shot in the leg. Officers were even seen picking up the woman and carrying them to safety.
